Of course, we all wanted to kidnap him 🥰.

So happy with my classes with Jo and talented ladies of all experiences making with clay.

I was keen to give wheel throwing a go as I wanted to play. I haven’t made in nearly 3 years due to all my energies going into my little gallery.

Jo keeps her classes small and manageable. She’s incredibly patient, encouraging and fun to learn from about all things pots, trimming and glazing.

I’m in another market this Sunday 7 May, 9-2, @nationalmuseumofaustralia You’ll find me @galleryofsmallthingscbr stall. I’ll have my classic and pollen earring range along with some little dishes. There are about 50 stall holders so pop on in to support local artists, listen to music and have a bite to eat while perusing the markets. Dress warm as it’s outdoors. Think like the Europeans and pretend it’s a Christmas market 💛🎄☺️.

Thanks to @visitcanberra who have included me in a major domestic campaign inviting people to visit Canberra and find more than they were looking for with gems sprinkled about in my hometown.

It’s that time of year again and it’s open stu

It’s that time of year again and it’s open studios for many artists in Canberra. I’m pleased to be opening my studio this Saturday from 11am to 4pm.

I love being apart of the Design Canberra Festival hosted by the fabulous team @craft.act . They work tirelessly to make this event run as smooth as they can. I’ll have a couple of my birds on display along with jewellery and little dishes. Pop on in as we love visitors 💛.

Every year I buy a Christmas wreath from @shopgirlflowergirl - they go within minutes of their posting. I’m not surprised! They are beautifully made by Amy and Kerist who forage for little, in season flora that come together in the prettiest arrangement. Here’s to a lovely Christmas 💛

Funny enough a memory popped up on my Facebook yes

Funny enough a memory popped up on my Facebook yesterday which was from the ANU School of Art & Design ceramics workshop. It was from 10 years ago when I did my last firing as a student. It seemed apt as I was going through my tax papers to realise I haven’t made or fired my own work for 12 months! It just goes to show that sometimes even artists do have a pause for various reasons. Mine was simply to focus on saving my gallery from the impact of the pandemic. I don’t regret this for a moment as my full time job is being a Gallery Director and ensuring the doors stay open for my artists and for me too 💛💛. @galleryofsmallthingscbr
